#What is Anytype?

Anytype is a decentralized productivity tool with a mission to become a decentralized social ecosystem. In Anytype you can both create your own "digital brain" while taking advantage of a collective knowledge database.

Currently, thousands of people are using Anytype to organize their thoughts, life, work, and interests: personal note-taking or task management systems, knowledge databases, etc. A passionate community supports us; 50.000 people await our beta as of now.

#Our principles

We are offline-first natively. You can sync information between Anytype on all of your devices without connecting to our servers

We offer sovereignty. We can't limit your access to your data; the data is stored on your device and can be synchronized using a p2p connection with your other devices without access to the Internet and a backend node.

Independence from big tech and other institutions. Times like today are the very reason we are building tools to empower human collaboration. It’s why basic rights such as privacy and the freedom to connect and share information with those you trust, are intrinsic elements of the software we create.

#Objectives of this Role

We're looking for someone to become a true content and marketing owner at Anytype - who can help us transform Anytype's name from a niche productivity app to a widely-recognized name across self-hosted, productivity, knowledge management, and DAO enthusiasts.

You will refine and represent Anytype's brand voice across external channels and within our community and blog. You will help to define content and growth strategies, owning your own OKRs within the marketing team. You will furthermore be responsible for creating short-form and long-form content that meets our goals of user acquisition and loyalty.

#In this Role, you will

• Be responsible for ensuring good outward relationships with our community & users through consistent and transparent communications about product progress
• Attract pertinent contributors to the Anytype Ecosystem
• Master our content strategy and creation. From deciding which strategic channels to focus on, to creating a content pipeline, to producing content that meets the needs of each channel, to analyzing the growth and efficacy of the strategy
• Facilitate partnerships with relevant communities, influencers, journalists, and creators with whom we might have synergies
• Write and publish content; disseminate the Anytype ethos and vision through blog posts, articles, reviews and industry relevant reports, etc.
• Technical documentation; i.e. setup instructions, user manuals, guides, glossary of terms
• Be one of the 'public faces' of Anytype: engaging with our followers across various channels, communicating on how the product should be used, etc.

#What We Expect From You

• Copywriting skills: You have a record of producing stellar short-form and long-form content that converts, inspires, and attracts target audiences. Video is a plus.
• Analytical skills: You understand marketing KPIs and can use them as a compass for marketing decision-making and course-correction
• Tech and productivity-phile: You should have a strong interest in productivity tools and have been an early adopter of similar technologies
• Execution-oriented: You are able to self-manage tasks, deadlines, and goal-delivery on defined OKRs
• Self-initiative: You are willing to propose and effectively communicate ideas to internal stakeholders on your own volition
• Socially-minded: You should be comfortable engaging with our followers and community across different channels, answering questions, and providing support where needed
• The ability to take and offer constructive criticism
• You should have excellent command of English, having previously created content for an English-speaking audience
